In my absence I took a brief nap, washed some dishes, and baked a marble cake.
Well, it's actually still in the oven and I need to make the frosting once it's cooled, but it's mostly done!
Now I just need the world to hurry up and be nighttime so the temperature drops down out of the 90's!

Cake sounds really good right now! I actually went ahead and fulfilled my donation to First Book early, because I didn't know what I was waiting for. Just for your tracking purposes I donated $5 more than I said I would.
